To cure toothache crush one pod of garlic, wrap it in a cotton ball and place it on the aching tooth. Garlic is very strong and can cause irritation in the gums; hence it should not be placed directly in mouth. Eat raw garlic with your meals everyday to prevent dental problems.
Clove provides instant relief from toothache. It helps to fight tooth decay, cavity formation and gum infections. Grind 5 cloves to make a fine powder, dissolve it in a glass of hot water and use it for gargles to relieve toothache. Dip a small piece of cotton in clove oil and apply it on aching tooth.
